My windows Are tinted! Now what?
Luckily, there’s not much to keep in mind after getting window tint. Just remember these few important things.
❋ Do not roll your windows down for 3-5 daysThe film needs time to cure and fully set. Rolling your windows down too early can cause shifting or peeling.
❋ Let the tint do it's thingYou’ll likely notice some moisture and blurriness for a few days. This is completely normal. Do not poke or press on any moisture bubbles. They will evaporate within a week.
❋ Use ammonia free cleanersDon’t clean or touch the inside of your windows for 3-5 days. After that, use a microfiber towel or a squeegee to clean your windows, using an AMMONIA FREE cleaner. (NO WINDEX!) We recommend a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water. Another great option is Sprayway Ammonia Free Glass Cleaner. Don’t use too much pressure when wiping your windows, you don’t want to scratch your tint!
❋ Do not put tape or suction cups on your tintIt’s very likely you will cause damage to the tint when removing tape or suction cups. If you’re adding a GPS console or dashcam, wait at least a week before installing. Keep in mind that you may damage your tint if you ever need to remove these items.
